Catalog – 2009
LILL Founder Jennifer Velarde was featured
along with other small business owners in
the newest IKEA Catalog showcasing their various
Business Solutions. All of our stores
feature a similar look and feel to the original
LILL Studio – Jen’s former home
at 1154 W. Lill Street in Chicago. She
used IKEA furniture and fixtures then, and
we use many IKEA items in our stores today.

Magazine, a regional Oregon publication. The
article titled, "Design-Your-Own-Handbag
Concept; Takes Off" featured 1154 LILL
as the originator and front-runner in the
custom handbag design industry. The article
commented on Founder, Jen Velarde's desire
to give people a unique and hands-on creative
experience with something she has always loved,
textiles. Hence, 1154 LILL STUDIO was born
in 1999. Today LILL operates Boston, Chicago,
Kansas City, and Online boutiques in addition
