1. A sample LILL bag. This style was chosen just for you by the person who sent you this gift. Use it to help visualize the customization options on the LILL Bag YOU will design yourself!
Of course, if you LOVE the bag you received, and choose not to design one of your own, it’s yours to keep. Simply snip the tag and enjoy. There is nothing to return.
2. Thirty Fabric swatches. Incuded in your kit you will find approximately 30 swatches of fabrics that represent the type of options* you have in the design of your custom bag. Even better? There are hundreds more fabrics to choose from online! Mix and match colors, textures and patterns to create a combination you love! You will choose one fabric for each part of your bag style. This may include the exterior body, interior lining, straps, pockets and more – all depending upon the style in your kit. Simply follow instructions on the enclosed order form to design your own custom LILL Bag.

It’s important to visit our online Fabric Palette to see additional options, as well as to verify that the fabrics in your kit are still available as choices. The 150+ fabrics shown online represent our currently available fabrics. If a fabric is in your kit but is not shown online, it is no longer available as a design option.

3. Order Form (plus one for a friend!) Simple instructions make the custom design process as easy as 1,2,3! Record the name of your fabric choice (and number if available) for each part of your style. It can be fun to invite a friend over to help you design!
We have also included an extra order form just in case your friend wants to design and purchase a custom LILL Bag of her own!

4. Pre-Paid Return Shipping Label. When you have completed your order form, put it back in the original shipping box along with the 1) SAMPLE BAG and 2) FABRIC SWATCHES.
Place the return label on the box and tape it up securely. Make sure to remove or complete cover any other shipping labels. Then simply drop the box at the nearest FedEx box or office location or call 1-800-GO FEDEX for a pickup.

Placing Your Order
To place you custom order fill out the enclosed order form completely. Don't forget that we've included an extra order form in case a friend would like to design and purchase her own!
Place your order form, sample bag (with tag intact) and fabric swatches back in the original shipping box. Affix the pre-paid shipping label and tape the box securely. Please be sure to remove any other labels on the the box. Drop the box at the nearest FedEx Box or FedEx office location.
Your order and kit will be sent back to our Chicago headquarters to be tailored into a one-of-a-kind creation. Your custom LILL Bag will be shipped back to you in 3-4 weeks time.
P.S. If you love the bag you received and choose not to design one of your own, simply snip the tag to keep it and enjoy! Please note that if we don’t receive an order form within 90 days, we will assume you love the bag you have received and do not intend to return it. We do not accept Design a Bag Kit order forms after 90 days of original purchase date.
Exchanges:
If you love the idea of designing your own LILL Bag, but would prefer a different handbag style, simply follow these instructions:
1) Download the Design a Bag Kit Exchange/Return Form HERE
2) Fill out the Form completely and place it, along with all materials included in the kit,
back in the original shipping box.
3) Affix the included Return Shipping label to the outside of the box and tape it up securely.
4) Drop the box at any FedEx Drop Box or FedEx Office location.
5) Once the box is received at LILL HQ, we will issue you a credit via email for the original price paid for the kit, less the original shipping costs and a $6 return handling fee. You may use this credit to shop ready-made bags or design your own bag
online,
in-store or at a
LILL on Location Handbag party.
Returns:
If the Design a Bag Kit just isn’t your thing, or you gave the kit to someone who wishes to return it, simply follow these instructions:
1) Download the Design a Bag Kit Exchange/Return Form HERE
2) Fill out the Form completely and place it, along with all materials included in the kit, back in the original shipping box.
3) Affix the included Return Shipping label to the outside of the box and tape it up securely.
4) Drop the box at any FedEx Drop Box or FedEx Office location.
5) Once the box is received at LILL HQ, we will process the returned kit in the manner specified in our Return Policy. Please note our return policy procedures vary based on the original sales channel through which an item was purchased: online, in-stores or at a LILL on Location handbag party.

Design Tips:
A few designer tips to help you custom order your own one-of-a-kind LILL Bag:
• Mix it up! Have fun mixing patterns and textures. We love pairing prints of different scales together on one bag and grounding it with a coordinating solid. See full and current fabric palette here.
• Large scale prints work best on larger bags or on bigger parts of bags. Similarly, smaller prints tend to work best as interiors or accents.
• Although some styles offer up to 5 fabric choices, we will often repeat a fabric on two parts of a bag for a more cohesive look. Match your straps to your exterior, for example, or your exterior pockets to your interior lining.
