11x14 artist canvas
fabric cut to 17” x 20” or larger
staple gun with staples
scissors

LILL STUDIO project guide
- Put your fabric pattern side down on a solid surface.
- Center your canvas on top of fabric, face down.
- Keeping canvas and fabric face down fold excess fabric back and over the top of the wooden canvas frame.
- Staple fabric to frame in the center of one side, pull fabric taut then the staple fabric onto center of the opposite side of frame. Photo included.
- Repeat for remaining two loose edges.
- Working from the center outward staple fabric every 1 ½ inches stopping 2 inches before the corners.
- Finish corners by folding up excess fabric first over the corner itself then in again from each edge. Photo included.
- Trim any excess fabric so that your piece measures 2 inches largerthan your canvas frame on all sides.
