Through the years 1154 LILL Studio has been incredibly fortunate to
have some of the most loyal, creative and enthusiastic customers and employees.
So, it is with a heavy heart that I am writing to inform you that 1154 LILL Studio
will close its doors in early March.
LILL began almost 15 years ago as a labor of love and grew to be a
prosperous business instantly attracting a strong following that happily shared
their love of design and LILL handbags with friends and family. Through the years,
we have achieved many things including hosting parties across the country, opening
several innovative stores and creating an award winning interactive website. We
survived many hurdles including the economic downturn of 2008-09 where we saw our
business change overnight. We have made many positive changes in earnest to evolve
with the significant market shifts that have taken place in retail and manufacturing.
And, despite the changing business climate, we were able to keep the business operation
moving forward and our staff gainfully employed for several more years. However,
with the ongoing uncertainty in the economy, I have made the difficult decision
to close our doors.
I cannot express what it means to have had the support of so many customers
for so long and the privilege to work along side such dedicated and talented people
through the last 15 years. Thank you all for your support, passion and patronage.

In the weeks ahead, we will be winding down our operations and offering the last chances to purchase 1154 LILL Studio products. Readymade products will be available while supplies last. Custom orders will continue to be accepted at respective locations per the schedule below. All orders will be completed for pick up or shipment by 3/29/14 or sooner. Below you will find wind down dates by specific location:

**Our Armitage location and website will be accepting custom orders
through Sunday 3/2/14. Readymades and fixtures will continue to be available for
sale at our Armitage location and online for 1-2 weeks longer (up to 3/15/14) while
supplies last. All order and readymade shipments will be completed by 3/29/14.
Additional information regarding our closure:
Due to the heavy volume of orders we have extended our due date for all custom order shipments to ship on or before 3/29/14. Typically readymade orders ship within 7 business days of order date, but may take longer if ordered with a custom product. We appreciate your patience as we work to complete all orders in a timely manner.
Can I still buy readymades?
Yes, readymades will be available for sale at all locations while supplies
last. Please reference the closure schedule on the FAQ page of our website for location
specific information. Readymade markdowns will begin at all locations on 2/6/14.
Readymades ordered online will ship within 7 days of order placement, with last
online readymade orders shipping by 3/29/14.
Can I still place a custom order?
Yes, all locations and our website will continue accepting custom orders until certain dates. Please reference the closure schedule on the FAQ page of our website for location specific information. The last custom orders will be accepted through store close on 3/2/14 at Armitage Avenue store and through the end of the day 3/2/14 via our website. Custom orders will ship or be available for limited in-store pick up within 4 weeks of order placement, with last custom orders shipping by 3/29/14.
Will all styles be available as readymades or for custom ordering?
No. Styles will be available while supplies last, meaning styles will discontinue as we run out of readymade inventory and/or parts and particular fabrics offered for custom ordering. If there is a certain style you want to purchase or fabric you want to design with prior to our closure, we recommend you purchase it when you find it available as we cannot assure it will be available through the end of our sale.
Can I buy fabric by the yard?
Yes, all fabrics will be offered for sale by the yard. All solid fabrics are available for sale at $5/yd. All patterned and raised textured fabrics are available for $11/yd. Fabrics range in width from 56” to 60” wide. Fabric by the yard may be ordered in stores or by phone by calling our web store at 773-696-3660. Fabric by the yard orders will be shipped from our warehouse directly to customers. Fabrics for custom ordering and by the yard are limited in quantity and will be available as supplies last.
Are you selling your store fixtures?
Yes, all stores will be selling their fixtures. Fixtures vary by location and are available as supplies last. Some fixtures may not be available for immediate pick up. Pick ups will be scheduled at time of purchase and will need to be picked up by the date of closure for the specific location.
Can I use my Gift Certificate?
Yes, gift certificates are able to be used for any product purchase.
We are no longer selling new gift certificates.
Are you accepting returns?
All purchases made 2/6/14 or later are final sales. No returns or merchandise
credits will be issued on products sold 2/6/14 or after.
I have an upcoming party scheduled. What should I do?
We will do our best to accommodate all parties currently on the schedule.
We will be contacting party hosts on our calendar to confirm your party or to work
with you to reschedule it. If you do not hear from us directly, please contact the
location of your scheduled party for more information.
I was planning to host a party but have not scheduled it yet. Can I
still schedule a party?
Yes, we are still accepting party requests at all locations for the duration of the time we are open at each respective location. We know many of our customers hold special memories of gatherings with friends and family at LILL and we would be honored to host you and your guests one more time before we close. Contact your desired location and we will work with you to schedule a party. All parties will be eligible to purchase at the discounts offered at each location at the time of the party.
Will your products be discounted? If so, by how much?
Yes, readymade products at all locations will be marked down to 50% off beginning 2/6/14. Products are available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional discounts may be added for readymades as the sale continues, but are not guaranteed. Custom orders will also be offered at 50% off beginning 2/6/14. Fabrics are limited in quantity so will be available for custom ordering while supplies last. Additional discounts for custom orders may be added as the sale continues, but are not guaranteed. The online code to enter for a discount is LASTCHANCE.
Can I combine discounts?
No. Due to the depth of discounts we will be offering during our closing
sale, discounts may not be combined.
I still have a Groupon / Living Social / Shopa-Ganza. Can I use it?
Yes, Groupons, Living Socials and Shopaganza’s will be accepted,
however, all of these coupon redemption events have expired. Only the amount originally
paid to purchase the coupon during the coupon event will be honored.
