Our Name
A studio condo at 1154 W. Lill Street was where Jennifer Velarde lived when she began making the first bags. It was here she conceived the concept and launched her business. As the first home of her own and the birthplace of this new venture, it was a natural fit for Jen to name her new company for where it got started - 1154 LILL Studio!

P. S.– Some read our logo as “Lisa Lill” –  there is no “Lisa,” just a girl named Jen who began it all at 1154 W. LILL!

Catalogs
We actually consider our website our catalog! We have brand new ready-made bag combinations and fabric choices available almost every week. We only create a few of each combination, which means bags sell out quickly, but are replaced by new combinations just as fast. Our original niche concept makes a traditional printed catalog hard to do – it would be outdated before it made it off the press!

Business and Growth
New Locations
We are always looking for leads on new areas to bring 1154 LILL. If you have suggestions on cities or neighborhoods that would make a great spot for a LILL store or a LILL on Location Rep – please let us know! We are always listening to you!

Franchising
We are flattered by the interest! However, we are not seeking partners or franchisees. Jennifer Velarde began 1154 LILL in 1999 and sinc then it has grown from a small operation to a full-scale design, production and retail operation. In this time we have perfected and legally protected our branded concept, systems, images, processes and product line and we are very proud of the company as it now exists. We believe in personal involvement in every aspect of the business and plan to continue with this strategy as we grow. We have carefully planned our immediate and future growth, and though we have been approached by many people who would like an opportunity to partner or franchise, we do not feel that it is in the best interest of our company at this time.
