How LILL Bags are made
Each and every original LILL Bag is individually cut, hand-sewn and hand-inspected to ensure the utmost in quality and care for your one-of-a-kind creation. We use only the highest quality designer fabrics and exceptional interfacing, components and findings to create each custom bag to your exact specifications and our high standards for function, durability and style. Our production headquarters has grown in size since we first began in 1999, however Chicago remains our heart and home for the design and manufacture of all LILL Bags.

Care Instructions
As we use such a wide variety of fabrics and each unique Lill bag may be made of several different fabric types, there is no general rule regarding cleaning. Here are some helpful tips to care for your Lill:

1.Maintenance
We strongly recommend spraying fabrics with a protective spray to keep your bag looking clean and new. We sell a universal-use spray or you may choose to use your own spray product.

We apologize, but are not able to ship our fabric spray to the following areas: Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

2.Overall Cleaning
Machine washing is not recommended.
Many dry cleaners will be able to handle overall cleaning. Please look for a specialist that can handle the plastic that makes up the stiff base included in many of our bag styles.

3.Spot Cleaning
When spot cleaning your bag it’s best not to rub the area. Our recommendation would be to blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. This will help soak up any excess liquid and reduce the potential of a seeing a spot after the area has dried. Most fabrics are upholstery weight and may be treated with mild soap and cold water. Hot water may cause shrinking or fading. Test a small area of the fabric in an inconspicuous place before treating your stain. There are many stain removers and spot treatments on the market, but we’ve found that the following work best are most successful:
Tide-to-go works well on all fabric types, but works especially well on faux suede.
Oxi Clean works well for fabrics with linen in them.
Stain Eraser by Evercare is a liquid solution that works well on all fabrics.
To remove any excess solution lightly brush the area with cold water and a clean toothbrush. After your bag has dried apply a protective spray to help prevent future stains.

To ensure the utmost in quality, durability and design, we only use and warrant those fabrics which we have carefully selected and currently offer thru our stores and website. We update our assortment frequently to offer a wide variety of colors, textures, and patterns to fit all styles and personalities and to make certain that each LILL Bag is truly a one-of-a-kind!

Logo Placement
Our signature black square logo with 1154 LILL STUDIO in white text adorns each and every LILL bag. You can see the location of the label on each style by searching through the shop our bags page.

Catalog
We actually consider our website our catalog! We have brand new ready-made bag combinations and fabric choices available almost every week. We only create a few of each combination, which means bags sell out quickly, but are replaced by new combinations just as fast. We love showcasing so many creative combinations – and our customers love the fact that they get a truly unique bag that speaks to their personality. Our original niche concept makes a traditional printed catalog hard to do – it would be outdated before it made it off the press!

General
We price all of our items by style and not by fabric combination or options. This means that a ready-made bag will cost the same as a custom-ordered bag of the same style. You can find the prices for all styles on the shopping pages of our website.

Bridal
We are pleased to offer a 20% discount to brides when 5 or more bags of the same style (or different styles of similar make up) are ordered.  Happy Wedding!
