“Call for Bridal Photos”
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL
NOT ENHANCE CHANCES OF WINNING. Open and offered only to legal
residents of the 48 contiguous United States (excludes Alaska
and Hawaii), 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers,
and directors of 1154 Lill, Inc. ("Sponsor"), and
any of its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, licensees,
advertising, promotion, or production agencies and web masters/suppliers
(and their respective IRS defined dependents, immediate family
members and individuals residing in their same household)
are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants
agree to these Official Rules. All entries and submitted materials
become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not
be returned. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
2. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: 1154 Lill
Studio would like to see your wedding pictures. 1154 Lill
Studio will review all submissions and choose a winner for
best bridal photo.
3. HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to
enter. Visit www.1154lill.com between 12:00:01 a.m. Central
Time (CT) June 1st , 2008, and 11:59:59 p.m. Central Time
(CT)September 5th, 2008, click
here, which will take you to the official web page entry
form. Complete the official web page entry form by providing
your name, complete address, age, and daytime phone number
and follow the instructions for submitting an entry and uploading
or sending in your bridal picture. Internet entries must be
received by 11:59:59 p.m.September 5th. To enter by mail,
sign and also hand-print your name, complete address (including
zip code), age, and daytime phone number on a plain piece
of paper, no larger than 8 1/2” x 11.” (If you
do not have a telephone, indicate “No Phone.”
Failure to comply with this or any other official rule will
result in disqualification.) Please include a high quality
bridal photo. Mail your entry in a first-class stamped envelope
to: 1154 Lill Studio, 1511 W. 38th St, Chicago, IL 60609 , postmarked by September 5th, 2008, and received by
September 10th, 2008. Copies, facsimiles and mechanical reproductions
are void; any other form of Internet or e-mail entry is void.
Limit one (1) entry per person regardless of the method of
entry. All right, title and interest to the pictures your
submit must be exclusively owned by you. If the picture is
not of you, you must obtain written permission from the subject
of the picture and submit that along with your entry. By submitting
a picture, you represent and warrant that the picture is entirely
yours; has not been published previously; and does not infringe
or violate any third-party intellectual property, privacy,
publicity or any similar such rights. By submitting a picture,
you grant the Sponsor the exclusive, irrevocable right to
publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such entry in any
way, in any and all media worldwide, without limitation and
without consideration to you. Submission of a picture further
constitutes your irrevocable assignment and transfer to the
Sponsor of any and all rights, title and interest in and to
the picture, including, without limitation, all copyrights
and indicates your acceptance of all contest rules and requirements.
Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries.
4. JUDGING: All eligible entries will be
preliminarily judged in Sponsor’s sole discretion to
determine 4 Finalists. Final judging to determine the Grand
Prize winner will be conducted from among the 4 Finalist entries.
All judging will be fulfilled by representatives of the Sponsor.
All judging decisions are final. Preliminary and final judging
will be based on the following criteria: 40% creativity, 20%
composition, 20% unique quality and 20% emphasis on brand
logo. Decisions of the judges are final. Winners will be notified
by mail.
5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE:
(1) Grand Prize: $150 Gift Certificate (3) Runners-Up Prizes:
$50 Gift Certificates
6. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend
upon the number of eligible entries received.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither Sponsor
nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected,
unintelligible, incomplete, illegible, stolen, returned, postage
due or undelivered entries, or e-mail; or for lost, interrupted
or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service
Provider (ISP), web site, telephone or other connections,
availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed
computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines,
or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed,
or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software
malfunctions, failures, technical errors or difficulties,
or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic
or network, or incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or
other information, or the failure to capture any such information.
Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Contest,
as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified.
Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry
methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify
any entrant using such methods. Sponsor are not responsible
for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's
computer related to or resulting from participating in this
Contest or downloading materials from or use of the web site.
Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor’ sole
opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized
human intervention, technical failures or other causes, which,
in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the
administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission
of entries, Sponsor reserve the right at their sole discretion
to suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest, and select the
winner from entries received prior to such action taken and
from all mail-in entries, or as otherwise deemed fair and
appropriate by Sponsor. Sponsor are not responsible for any
incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site
users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming
associated with or utilized in the Contest, and assume no
responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect,
delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure,
theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the 1154 Lill
Studio web site. In case of dispute, the authorized subscriber
of the e-mail account used to enter the promotion at the actual
time of entry will be deemed to be the participant, and must
comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber
is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail
address by an Internet Access Provider, on-line service provider,
or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail
addresses.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Participants agree
that: (a) Sponsor, and its parent, subsidiary and affiliated
companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and their
respective officers, directors, employees, representatives
and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and are
released and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any
liability, for: (i) damages arising out of entrants breach
of their representations and warranties in Paragraph 3 above;
and (ii) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to persons,
including death, or to property resulting in whole or in part,
directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse
or use of the prize or participation in this Contest or in
any contest-related activity; and (b) winner, by acceptance
of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission
for Sponsor (and agrees to confirm such agreement in writing)
and those acting pursuant to either of their authority to
use his/her name, photograph, voice, and/or likeness and prize
information for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes
without further compensation, at any times or time, in all
media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on
the Internet and/or World Wide Web, without notice or review
or approval. Winner will be required to complete, sign, and
return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and
a publicity release, where lawful. If affidavits/releases
are not returned within seven (7) days of date of receipt,
or winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with
these Official Rules, or if prize notification or prize is
returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an
alternate winner selected. Taxes on prize are solely winner’s
responsibility. Should the prize be won by a minor in his/her
jurisdiction of primary residence, prize will be awarded to
minor’s parent/legal guardian, and all affidavits, releases,
and undertakings set forth in these Official Rules must be
executed and undertaken by the parent/legal guardian.
9. WINNER’S LIST: For name of the
grand prize winner and three runners-up, mail your name and
complete address in a first-class stamped envelope for receipt
by September 5th 2008 to: 1154 LILL STUDIO Bridal Photo Contest,
1511 W. 38th St,Chicago, IL 60609.
